Also, thanks to More Or Les, who came through to talk about the latest incarnation of hip-hop karaoke, it's called Karaoke A La Rap. Oh yah, he also held it down in the booth, winning him the career of being Erikah Badu's GPS rapper, to rap directions to her. Off The Hook attended the Roots & Erikah Badu outdoor show here in Montreal. The Roots were supposed to play 45 minutes, starting at 7, but ended up going for 2 hours because Mz.Badu got lost around Sherbrooke. As we were leaving at 9:25 her bus was just pulling up. Blake's going to post some video from the show.

So CKUT is currently renovating the studio to something much better than the waste of space design that was previously there, for the next month we're broadcasting from the production studio. Here are some shots from last night's show.
